Last week, all fourth graders read aloud a previously practiced text. The children then voted in their classes to see who had read aloud most fluently and with the best intonation. The class winners were Tammy (4a), Karlotta (4b) and Paula (4c).
On Friday, 29.11.2025, the three class winners competed against each other in an internal school reading competition. It was very difficult for the jury to decide on a school winner, as all three girls read outstandingly well. In the end, Paula came out on top and is now the best reader at our school.
Ms. Albers-Wilmes congratulated all the children and presented them each with a book voucher. On 30.01.2026, our school winner will take part in the regional competition and compete against the best readers from other elementary school in Gronau and Ahaus. We wish her every success!
