For a week, from June 8–12, 2026, everything at our school revolved around the theme “I Feel Good.” In mixed-grade groups, students in grades 1 through 4 worked together on topics designed to enhance their well-being and foster a sense of community.
From May, the children at Viktoriaschule can borrow great games from the new games hut during the breaks. The offer has been very well received. Children from year 4 manage the loan themselves. Many thanks to our support group, who financed the purchase of the play equipment!
On Friday, February 13, 2026, it was that time again - carnival was celebrated at our school. There was a cheerful atmosphere everywhere. The individual classes celebrated, danced and played. The children came in colorful and creative costumes - from princesses to superheroes to funny animals, everything was there.
On Monday, the children at Viktoriaschule received a special visit: Nikoalus and his faithful companion Ruprecht came by to surprise the children. There was tense anticipation in the classes early in the morning. The classes had prepared songs and poems. At the end, the two distributed presents to the classes. It was a great experience. We are already looking forward to next year
On Friday, 05.12.2025, we went on a school trip with the whole school to the Theater an der Wilhemshöhe in Lingen. There we watched the well-known play "The Flying Classroom" based on a novel by Erich Kästner. It was a great trip with all the children from Viktoriaschule.
The second day of school after the summer vacation was a very special day again this year: the new first graders had their first day of school! After a beautiful church service in St. Josef's Church, the new schoolchildren were welcomed by the whole school. This was followed by their first lesson!
On Friday, July 4, 2025, our annual sports festival took place on the sports field at the city park. At the beginning, all participants warmed up to the song "Sportinator". Afterwards, the kids gave their all in the sprint, punch ball and long jump.
On Thursday, 26.6.2025, a very special trip to the zoo in Nordhorn took place as part of the German-Dutch project: Education, Movement and Encounters. Nineteen children from class 4c of Viktoriaschule and thirteen children from Groep 7 and 8 of Harry Bannink school visited Nordhorn Zoo together.
On 18.06.2025, our school took part in the Gronau Primary School Football Cup. In hot temperatures, our teams showed full commitment and enjoyment in the games. The 3rd year boys' team achieved a great 3rd place. You can find the photos of the teams in the gallery =)
Last Saturday it was once again time to clear the stage and raise the curtain for "Die komische Pyjamaparty", the children's musical directed by Corinna Dahlhaus in collaboration with the Viktoriaschule.
This year's musical "Die komische Pyjama-Party" will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the auditorium of the Werner-von-Siemens Gymnasium in Gronau. As always, admission is free, we ask for a donation so that a new musical can be realized next year!
