That was an exciting day. We were taken by bus to the nature zoo in Rheine. We were able to observe many animals there. Tigers, zebras, monkeys, kangaroos and camels are just a few of them.
Feeding the storks, seals, penguins and sea otters was particularly exciting. We were even allowed to feed the sea otters ourselves.
Ms. Weilting, the zoo teacher, told us lots of interesting things about baby animals. We were also allowed to stroke the mice in the zoo school.
It was a lovely trip that we really enjoyed.
