Overnight care

Overnight care

The work of Schülerbetreuung Viktoriaschule e.V. began in the 1997/98 school year.
Interested parents founded the association, the school provided the space and the parents and the state secured the funding.

Lunchtime supervision concept

The primary purpose of this facility is to give working parents the security of knowing that their children will be supervised at school until 1.30 p.m. if necessary.
If supervision is required in the first few hours of the school day, it is provided by the teachers in the year groups next door.

Admission requirements & costs

Children whose parents submit an application are accepted into the childcare group. The association decides on admission.

The childcare fee is collected by the town of Gronau.

It currently amounts to EUR 28 per month for an income of over EUR 20,000 per year or EUR 14 per month (for a sibling).

If your income is less than 20,000 euros per year, you must contact the town of Gronau.

Supervision times

Depending on the timetable, childcare begins after the 4th lesson and ends at 1.30 pm.
However, children can be picked up at any time or sent home if they wish. If lessons end earlier for the whole school, childcare also begins earlier.
There is no childcare on school-free days.

Telephone during childcare hours: 0171-1867790

The premises for after-school care are located on the top floor of the Viktoriaschule.
